What is your skin type?

Combination but I only get a little bit oily, it's nothing drastic. I just get oily on my nose and some on my forehead

I suggest doing a face mask and to drink PLENTY of water. Stay away from soda and junk food

What's your skincare routine and what products are you using?

Have you introduced any new products into your routine?

I agree with Sarah! Your diet has a lot to do w/ the healtiness of your skin. There's plenty of masks to choose from--you can buy one or use a DIY (I recommend brown sugar, honey, oil, and lemon). You can also use spot treatments for the larger pimples!

Alexis-my skincare routine is super simple. All I do is remove my makeup with neutrogena makeup wipes, then I use neutrogena acne cleanser, then I moisturizer with lubriderm moisturizer. So I pretty much just wash then moisturize. Kailey- about two months ago I started using Paula's choice BHA for about two weeks and it made them so much worse. Believe it or not, this is nothing compared to what it was when I was using that but I stopped using that about two or three weeks ago.

Do you wash your face in the morning as well? If not then I would suggest cleansing morning and night as well as adding a toner into your routine morning and night.

Yes I wash my face in the morning too. I'm just always scared of trying new products because it seems my face breaks out to everything. 😕 is there a toner you would recommend?

Hmm. I thought maybe that could be the cause, but if they were there before you introduced the BHA, it likely just exacerbated the issue. Though it could have been made worse using it in combination with the acne cleanser, it may have been too much of a good thing, so to speak; too much of an active ingredient can do more harm than good. I would personally recommend switching to a gentle, pH-balancing cleanser, an alcohol-free toner, light moisturizer, and just spot treat the acne. I believe the Acne Free brand has a spot treatment with a pretty high concentration of benzoyl peroxide. But it should only be used on the actual blemish, avoid the skin surrounding it or it can be quite drying.

I use the No7 Beautiful Skin Toner in Normal/Oily and I love it, it's gentle but gets rid of any extra makeup or cleanser that's left in the pores so they're truly clean. It's available at Target.

Seems to me like it is hormonal acne which is very common when using certain birth control Methods, I certainly suggest you to see a dermatologist or your reg doc.

They look like milia which are similar to comedones but never become a white head. They are basically tiny pearls of sebum and dead skin trapped under the skin. A way to make them go away is to put a spot treatment either containing retin-a (tretinoin cream) And then use a gentle exfoliant every day to be sure you are thoroughly cleaning the area. And then drink a ton of water! It usually takes a few weeks for them to go away but in time, and if you stick to the spot treatment and exfoliation they will go away. Since they are around your jaw they could also be hormonal which will go away when your hormones balance out a bit. I hope this help! Have patience:)

But if they don't go away within 2 weeks I would go see a dermatologist :)

I have the same kind of skin, and I had those kind of pimples. I'm amazed with lidherma products. I usually use one soap which reduses the oil and later on, treat the acne with an acid which kills the bacteria. Also be aware of la roche posay products!
