My hair is so flat on top... What products can you recommend to give it a little boost. Oh and it is thin.

What shampoo do you use!? You can use a shampoo that's only to add volume to your hair.

My batiste dry shampoo usually does the trick! Even for three day old hair lol.

Paul Mitchell has an amazing root boost :) I'd also suggest Mousse Forte or Whipped Cream by Sebastian.

I just recently started conditioning my hair (yes, roots included) first before I use shampoo. That way, you'll have some natural volume already since conditioner weighs down your hair. I use a root booster spray (Pantene) after I'm done showering, mousse, and tease.

I have the same exact problem! I use the sexy hair powder play & it adds instant volume to your hair, I love it.

Big Sexy Hair Root Pump Plus, Redken Thickening Lotion, Volumizing Powder, and Batiste Dry Shampoo. I've used all of these and they work wonders. I have the same issue. I usually towel dry my hair a bit and then run a quarter-sized amount of thickening lotion through my hair when it's still damp. Then I'll spray a little Root Pump Plus on my roots and blow dry out with a thermal round brush. That usually does the trick, but if I need more volume or I'm in a big hurry I will apply a volumizing powder (I like both the Got2B brand and Beyond The Zone [available at Sally's Beauty Supply] personally) to my roots and kinda "shampoo" or massage if you will it into my scalp and slightly tease my hair. I also do this with my Batiste dry shampoo.

Paul Mitchell extra body root lifter works AMAZING. You spray it at the roots or wherever you want the extra oomph and blowdry it. Its also got panthenol so that the hair cuticles expand giving extra body to the hair. Hence the name.
