So my face is horribly dried out so it's causing my makeup to look cakey. Even without makeup my face is disgusting looking, my skin is that dry. The winter is asking it's toll on my skin. I don't know what to do. I've tried bath & body works lotion and been using a neutragena skin moisturizer but nothing is working. Please help!

It might help to list the products you're already using to better pinpoint the problem and to get a better idea of what products to suggest for you. Everything you put on your face matters and can contribute to your dryness. List your cleanser, toner, scrubs, masks, moisterizers, skin care treaments, sunscreen, primer, foundation and powder.

I suggest to use Advanced Night Repair by Estee Lauder morning and evening, associated with an oil if that is not enough, followed by your normal routine. Your skin will no longer look dry and flaky after this.

Removing your make up an oil cleanser will also help. I like the Clinique take the day off balm.

Cetaphil! It's the consistency of shortening but it's great. They also make a cleanser which has been great for my skin

Vitamin E oil and Burts Bees Milk and Honey. I have eczema, and these both make it so much more bearable. Sometimes I combine them, putting the E oil on the rough spots, and the Burts on like regular lotion over top of it, massaging it in.
It might be a thick mixture for your face, but one or the other should help at least :)

Laneige water sleeping mask. I find that my skin is really hydrated when I wake up.

I've been putting my Monsia night repair cream on and then applying vit E oil. I was told that this seals in the moisture - I know that when I wake up in the morning my face still feels smooth and not at all tight & itchy as it used to so it is working for me.

I have been getting the same problem recently so I started using rosehip oil and vitamin E oil at night and it has helping my face a lot and also the rosehip oil is quite light as well it won't feel heavy on your face.
