I use fix + or the spray by smash box before & after my makeup which I've noticed a huge change. but what really bothers me is it looks like my skin is peeling when I lay foundation or concealer over it. /: do you know of something I can use for the oil on my nose??

Did you introduce any new products to your skin or change anything about your diet right before this started? and which skincare products are you using / what is your skincare routine?

Check if your foundation or concealer has expired yet?

Do you wash your face right before you put on your makeup? Sometimes that'll do it.

@ Deborah S. - I've just been doing healthier stuff if anything honestly. nothing has really changed tho. for foundation I use the Makeup Forever ultra HD foundation, MAC pro Longwear concealer or the UD naked skin concealer, then the Shade & Light palette for bronzing & contouring & I use a translucent powder for setting everything before that. my skincare routine is using my Clarisonic with the purity one step facial cleanser, the Drunk Elephant facial serum & eye serum, and a Clinique gel moisturizer (I would say the name but it's all rubbed off haha). I use the glam glow exfoliant once a week & use a sunscreen everyday so my skin doesn't get damaged as well as applying it more than once a day. I use an oil a couple times a week as a 'mask' kind of deal because I have horrible redness & the oil is supposed to help that.

@ Shengmin L. - I actually thought that was the reason why it was happening & I went and bought new stuff for the day I took this picture (I had a party to go to) & it didn't do anything different, it still showed up like that if not worse. /:

@ Caroline H. - I wash my face before applying makeup yes, but I wash it 15-30 minutes before putting on makeup so my moisturizer and (sometimes) my serum can sit.

It sounds like you have a great skincare routine. Have you ever tried double cleansing? It's something I've been doing for a while and it really helps with getting every last bit of makeup off that way my skincare can penetrate better and my makeup lays better on the skin. Now double cleansing means going in with a oil based cleanser first and then using a regular cleaner afterward (you can still use your Clarisonic) I'd only recommend doing this at the end of your. I personally go in with a makeup wipe, my Algenist melting cleanser, then my Boscia clear complexion cleaner with my Clarisonic. If you want to try it you'd just need to pick up a cleansing oil. I know the Boscia makeup breakup is a good one!

I'll definitely go look into it, thank you so much. ☺️
