I was talking to a guest at work yesterday about her Betsy Johnson bag and I've been wanting one of her bags for years now. I had mentioned that my birthday was coming up and she said I should finally get the bag for myself. I'm tempted to do it (treat yo self!) but I already have so many other purses that currently aren't getting much use. I really want one but I don't know if I should wait until I start using my purses more. Really I've only stopped using them because I've been working almost nonstop for the holiday season so I think once it's over I'll have more time to myself/time to go out and use my regular purses.

I need some guidance! To purse or not to purse?

I for one would suggest not getting the purse yet until you get more uses out of your other ones. You could treat yourself to something else for your birthday like a nice dinner or some beautiful chandelier earrings! Again it's just a suggestion :)

I always base a purchase off of the Cost per Wear ratio. What that is is the price divided by the amount of times you'll wear the piece (obviously just a rough estimate). If you can get it really low, it's a great investment. The CPW of some really expensive items can get down to under $10. It's a really great way to get an idea of if its worth the money :)

I wouldn't, if you don't even use the purses you already have I don't feel like buying another one is the best idea, that's just me though. I've only recently started using a purse instead of a side carry bag and even though I love the look of purses now I still tend to grab my smaller bag to carry. If I do use my purse it's only when I'm carrying more stuff and I'll only use a purse with a long strap haha! 😭
