Hey guys I just thought I'd share with you this really useful skincare routine that I have adapted recently. I noticed my skin got a lot more smoother and brighter after doing it and it has evened out my skin tone as well.

So first, you want to always wash your face 2 times a day (during the morning and night) to remove any excess dirt or makeup that sticks onto your face. I really like my Clarins gentle foaming cleanser for normal combination skin, its not irritating for the skin and it feels really good when you scrub your face. A cheaper alternative would be Neutrogena deep clean cream cleanser which works like a miracle and actually makes your skin glow. The only downside is that it has fragrance so it might be irritating to some skin types.

So after cleansing, I always take a cotton ball and soak it with a toner. The toner basically helps cleanse your skin more as well as tightens the pores and reduce pimples. Toners are super important if you have oily skin because it can balance out the pH on your skin and helps mattify it. A really good toner I been using is the Tea Tree skin clearing toner that I got from ULTA and I found that after using it for a week my skin looks more brighter, cleaner, and more even!! I always like waiting 10 minutes for the toner to seep into my skin then apply a moisturizing lotion onto my face.

Moisturizer is important because the toner really dries you out. The moisturizer I'm currently using is the one from Clinique called the dramatically different moisturizing gel. I really like how it doesn't feel all oily and heavy on my skin but yet makes my skin dewy and hydrated.

Also at least once a week I like to exfoliate my skin so to get rid of the dead skin cells that dulls out our skin. You should always exfoliate especially if you live in a city with a lot of pollution like I do. Anyways, normally I don't like using Lush products but I absolutely love their sea salt face and body scrub. It's actually makes your skin feel smooth afterwards unlike a lot of exfoliaters which just dries you out. After I use it, my skin looks and feels absolutely flawless!!

One last thing, you should ALWAYS apply some type of SPF onto your skin if you actually want to see results because the SPF helps protect your skin from sun damage. I find that using an SPF everyday along with a weekly exfoliating ritual helps a lot because it helps regenerate new skin while protecting that new skin from further damage. I've only recently became interested in skin care and I'm already seeing some good results. I plan to follow this religiously and see if it continues to work. Good luck!^___^
