I'm looking for a highlighter that will show up on pale, cool toned skin and create a dewy, glowy finish, and I'm stuck between Becca moonstone and Kevyn Aucoin candlelight powder. Do any of you ladies prefer one over the other? If so, how come? Thank you so much in advance!

I have moonstone is the liquid and poured form...it's beautiful!! BUT as I am very pale and cool toned I just picked up pearl which is stark white. I pair it over the cream highlight in the ABH cream contour kit, also white.. And it's beautiful!! The Becca formulas are great and they give a wet look versus glittery

I love Becca's Moonstone and I am very fair skinned. I was disappointed the first time I used it because I was pretty close to my mirror and swiped a ton on and it looked like nothing had even been applied, until I stepped back from the mirror and my skin looked amazing and glowy! Not a glittery mess like other highlighters would do.

As far a Kevyns, I do not own, but its on my list when I run out of Becca (which will probably be forever)...

Wow, I was already leaning towards Becca, but now I just may be convinced! Thanks ladies. Now I just have to decide on using their liquid formulas or their powder formulas. Any preferences?

I have both, and I prefer Becca's because I like dramatic highlighters. I do use candlelight for "lesser maintenance" days, because it looks a lot more natural. Again, because I love my drama, I use my powder version a lot more often than the liquid.

Thank you, Sharon! I also love dramatic highlighting, so I think I'll go with the moonstone powder, thank you again for your help.

I like the pressed powder the best. I feel like it shows up better than the liquid and poured and it also last longer.

Ah, okay, good to know! Thanks again Lisa. Which shade of the pressed powder do you use? I'm considering pearl, since it seems like it might show up on fair skin better than moonstone, but I'm not sure as I haven't seen it in person.

Nars albatross, tarte champage or notoriously morbid ostemancy which is gorgeous! Looks wet and shinny not glittery at all! I'm not a pale person but I have a friend that is, and I helped her find the perfect highlights and so far those were the best!

Wow, thank you Paulina, I'll look into them all!

I love Moonstone, I have very fair skin and it looks really nice. I personally didn't like the way pearl looked on me but everyones different. If possible you could swatch them in store to see which looks better, however I don't think Pearl comes in the Pressed formula. Not for sure on that, maybe it was just out of stock when I bought mine but they didn't have it.

I just looked and they have Pearl, so it must have just been out of stock... But I still like Moonstone better, I felt like Pearl (I swatched the liquid or poured) didn't show up right on my skin.

Ah, really? Thanks Lisa! Moonstone is lovely, I can certainly see how it would be flattering. You have absolutely beautiful skin, by the way.

Moonstone is definetly a universal highlight shade. I have olive skin and I love it.

I hear it's stunning, so I definitely believe it! I really love how olive skin looks highlighted in general.
