So I have just bought my hair dye and it is the loreal couleur experte express highlighting kit and I'm so scared now because on the side is all this warning stuff about allergic reactions! It says it may cause respiratory reactions and severe skin irritations!! What? Why? Help I'm so scared now! All I wanted to do was color my hair:(

There's warning like that on every hair dye. All dyes (all chemicals) can have side effects - but its rare.
Do the patch test as the box proberbly recommend and see if your skin feels irritated, if not your fine! I have been dying my hair for 15 years and never had a reaction... And I have never known someone who had a reaction.

They have to put those warnings as it covers every eventuality. They're incredibly rare but if someone did end up having respiratory problems because of the hair dye and it wasn't listed on the box, L'Oreal would get into big trouble.
Make sure you do a patch test (I'd recommend behind your ear or your inner arm)

Okay..phew..thank you everyone. It makes me feel better to know its on all hair dyes.
