Highlighters and foundation but my foundation problem is similar to Marleens. I always think the next one is going to make my face look perfect so I can't resist. One day I will make peace with the fact that perfect skin is not in the cards for me but I don't think it'll be soon lol!

Angela, Never give up! But, skincare is even more important. I am usually working on my Holy Grail skincare & Holy Grail foundation. Right now, Marc Jacobs is pretty close to my HG. But, since I've been trying some new skincare, I'm hoping that my skin will get better, so I'll need less foundation. And possibly my foundation search will be over.

That is very true Marleen! I've had luck with a minimalistic approach, suggested by my esthetician. I'm so happy I don't have to spend a fortune for great skin. I am literally using one 15 dollar cream to control any breakouts and minimize my pores, and one 7 dollar cream cleanser with a super soft washcloth glove that I wash religiously every time I use it. Never had better skin. It's so soft!
As for HG foundation, I adore RCMA and I'm super psyched that I got my refills in the mail with the brushes yesterday. Perfect match, it has the coverage that I want on different days, I can mix it with moisturizer to get more sheer look or with MAC strobe cream for a luminous fiinsh... and it doesn't contain any nasty ingredients.

Which MJ foundation are you using? A lot of people are talking about the Remarcable.

Breeze, yes, I'm using Remarcable. It's full coverage but a light feel. I do also like Loreal Lumi & Too Faced Born This Way. But MJ has the most coverage. Once I get my skin in a better condition, I'm hoping to start using the L'Or?al or the Too Faced as my usual foundation. I prefer a light-medium coverage, but my melasma usually makes me go full for everyday.

My weakness is fake tan! I have tried so many and I'm a sucker for a new tanning product! My favourite has to be cocoa brown tan, lol my roommate gets annoyed for me taking up 3 drawers just for tan and then having to place my stuff near the bed hahaha

I see :) I'm not much of a full coverage kind of gal but I can imagine the frustration of having melasma show through different foundations, and the happiness in finding one that finally works!
I do like the l'Oreal lumi, I tried it in the cushion version too. Love it but it ran out so quickly that I put some of the liquid one in the compact for ease of use! ;)
