Hey guys! I always wear fake tan but was wondering if sun still tans the natural skin underneath or does fake tan act as a barrier, I wouldn't know as I'm never without it!

As long as your fake tan doesn't contain any sun block, you will still tan under the sun.

Following...I've always wondered if the fake tan + sun will build on the fake tan or however it works.

A fake tan offers no protection from UVB or UVA rays (unless specified on the bottle of fake tan), so yes, you can still tan from the sun whilst wearing fake tan. Fake tan offers no sun protection, it's basically just a layer of colour on your skin

Hannah is correct, of course it depends on the product but I'm a spray tan tech and I haven't worked with any products that offer any sun protection BUT I spray tan all the time and I find when I have my spray tan I don't tan much when I'm laying out but that's because my spray tan is already so dark if that makes sense
