it feels like a needle in your skin if u were to take a tooth pic ot needle and slightly push down on your skin thts wat it feels like (a pointy toothpick) some times u dont even feel it because your ear lobes are not that sensitive and dont have alot of nereves but after use the stuff they give u it really helps and keep it because is ur ear gets infected ot ur allurgec to a post (metal/ the color coating ) it will stop it from hurting and getting even more infected (i have alot of experiance in tht lol) hope this helped ad go for it!!!!!!

I just got it done a month ago, if you pinch your earlobe hard with your nails thats exactly what it feels like, and the pain goes away in seconds!

I have four holes in my right ear and two in my left. I did half of them myself. None hurt! Honestly! Go for it!

I would suggest going to a reputable piercer, not a shop/stall in the mall. The piercings they do in those stores can cause scar tissue and other issues (I've had this experience myself and regretted it). Professional piercers will use a needle and thread the jewelry in, not just use force to punch the jewelry into your ear. Make sure you take care of it while it heals! That is crucial to avoid infections and bad reactions. The piercing itself doesn't hurt too much, just a quick pinch like getting a shot at the doctor. Good luck!
