What's a good facial sunscreen that's not too terribly expensive that's good for oily skin? I go to a farmers market thing every Saturday and right now, I'm having to rely on my moisturizer that only has SPF 20, which I feel like isn't enough for how sunny it usually is and how I'm out there for. I need a lot of SPF since I burn so incredibly easy, but most sunscreens I've tried are either to greasy for my oily skin, or they irritate my skin because I presume that they're chemical sunscreens instead of physical. I don't have a ton of money I can spend, so anything that's fairly affordable would be much appreciated!!

I've been using the Tarte Tarteguard and I've been enjoying it! It's SPF 30 and doesn't feel greasy (: it's $32 and the travel size is $12.

That's a good budget!
I have sensitive skin as well and I do not tolerate chemical sunscreens at all... while the tarte guard is a nice choice - it contains fragrance so it may burn your skin.
I've been through quite a few... CeraVe, Neutrogena, Honest Beauty, Tarte, Shiseido, Alba Botanica, and some others. I have to say the winner is ELTAMD.
A lot of physical sunblocks tend to leave either a very dry finish which will make your make up look cakey (CeraVE is very dry..) or too oily (Honest beauty). I like ELTAMD because it doesn't alter my make up and the tube contains a generous amount so it takes awhile for it to run out.
It doesn't contain any unnecessary ingredients that other sunblocks try to offer.. while it's nice that a sunblock like Tarte offers some skin goodies.. with all the skin care you have on you'll gain very minimal benefits from it. I like for my skin goodis to be left in serums where they absorb best.
My skin is acne prone and ELTAMD does not bother it one bit. I was recommended it by dermatologist. It's available to purchase online as well.
ELTAMD has a nice variety that caters to different skin types which is pretty neat.. as opposed to one size fits all. (You can select from the drop down on the left for your skin type).
I purchase it from dermstore

I personally use the tinted one.. it has a very light beige tint. Coverage is like a BB cream.

I do also own the clear one when I'm too tanned for the tinted one, no white cast left behind

Paula's Choice also offers a variety of sunscreens. I would ask our member Livi about it.. I personally haven't tried them since they are more chemical based. However, she does has a bit of skin sensitivity that's not as apparent as mine so she may be able to guide you with PCs more so than I can :)

Thank you all!! Kitty, do you think that the tinted version would be ok for very fair skin tones? I almost never find a foundation that's light enough for me, I always have to mix it with white, if that's a reference haha. If not, that's totally fine, the clear one is still perfect :)

I really love Kiehls Moisturizer. It has spf 30, doesn't feel greasy and doesn't smell like sunscreen :)

I second Camilla on the Kiehl's daily facial moisturizer! I also really like Alba Botanica's face sunscreen in the pink bottle, which has spf 30.

I'm a huge fan of the ELTAMD line, too. I wear the SPF 46 daily in clear under my makeup and it works great. Colorscience has a great powdered sunscreen product that I love, too. A bit pricier, but perfect for when you don't wear any other makeup (how I justify the cost) and I like how easy it is to apply to my part.
