I just purchased a Vanity Planet facial brush. I would like to know what's the best way to use this brush, or any other facial brush, like the Clarisonic and etc. I have acne prone, oily skin. I have heard these brush heads can be rather drying, but it of course doesn't 't apply to all so what are your suggestions when washing my face and exfoliating my face with this product? Thanks in advance (:

Does the brush head on that spin or move in any way? From all the promos I've seen of it from YouTubers it looks like the brush head moves.

Yes (:. It rotates at a single-speed.

Forgot to mention that even though it only offers a single-speed rotation, I kept coming across reviews that spoke about how it is gentle enough for those who have super sensitive skin.

Brush heads that move can actually damage the skin by causing micro tears. Personally I would return it and invest in a Clarisonic, the brush head doesn't move (it kind of vibrates) and uses sonic pulses to thoroughly cleanse the skin without damaging it. The Clarisonic is the best investment I've ever made for my skin.

I agree with Alexis (and Lisa). When the bristles move across your skin, it can cause a lot of irritation, discomfort and little tiny tears in the skin for more bacteria to grow. :( Fortunately, the only other cleansing tools I've tried are the super old Neutrogena Wave which just moved a soaked pad around the face and the Luna Foreo. If you're looking to save a few dollars, I wouldn't completely shut out the Luna as an option (although I wasn't a fan, personally) as I've had friends who really enjoyed it.

I agree with alexis. Sorry I know that was very short but there's no point reiterating her point!!
