I think they mean sort of hippie-rock style (lol I don't really know how to describe that properly)

Ok in that case think Diana Ross, Jane Fonda, Cher and the supremes - those would be good icons to try and recreate - otherwise 60s was all about British mod fashion like Twiggy and Jackie O and Audrey Hepburn were the main fashion icons - for 70s I would say was more disco - like Ferrah fawcett - so bell bottoms and stuff like that - and the 60s icons flowed over into 70s so hope that helps :)
