I'm trying to go for that natural look but still use falsies. I think my eyelashes are too short to just use mascara.

I wear Adell Demi Whispies sometimes and I think they give a soft, more natural look. Sometimes I trim them and just place them near my outer lashes. I love that they don't hit my glasses..lol

I second the Ardell demi whispies. They just make it look like you were born with great lashes:)

Angela, I like how the lashes are tapered. Perfect for a cats eye. Even worn without liner they bring that same tapering..it's very sexy without look unnatural. The regular whispies and "soft' Ardells are also lovely. I save those for when I want a more rounded eye. Those work so well if I'm just smoking out the liner or shadow a bit or tightlining.
I don't wear lashes every day, but I find I reach for the Ardell most when I do. They just seem easier to apply for me and are never heavy. Love the value packs.

I know this isn't my thread but thank you for answering, Rozberry and Angela! I've been wanting to get into wearing natural looking falsies but didn't know where to start, especially since my eyes are hooded so I didn't want the lashes to look like they're taking up even more of my non-existent lid space, lol. I'll be looking into the Ardell Demi Whispies!

Alexis, these work so lovely. I remember I wore a more glamorous pair from Red Cherry for a hair photoshoot a friend did for her portfolio..and I went to dinner afterwards on a Friday night. It was at a nearby slightly upscale microbrewery where everyone knows me. SO many people asked me if I was wearing lashes! ugh..They know me so well that change was obvious. They were incredibly complimentary and loved my lashes, but I'd worn the other varieties, such as the demis or regular whispies from Ardell in there before and instead recieved "Love your eyes" or "look so pretty" compliments...how nice the look itself was, or how my eye color "popped" rather than the focus being on false lashes. Haha. I don't even think they knew I had lashes on those other occasions.
I get, "What kind of mascara is that?" even from close friends if I have them on..and I don't wear them often..so my friends noticed something better, but didn't know they were false..they thought I had amazing mascara or something...lol So I do feel they provide a bit of flirt and amp up your lashes without looking like false lashes. You get that noticeable difference, but still natural. That's just in my personal experience. I'm also new to glasses on occasion and they don't hit my lenses or sunglasses. The band is thin so they play nicely. I just love them. Hope you do too!
I do think the Ardell regular "whispies" and "soft touch" lashes provide more fullness in the inner eye area if you are looking to open up the eye instead of a cat. Ulta has the demis on sale, but I don't know about the rest. I use either duo or House of Lashes with the brush. Not everyone likes a brush, but I'm not great at application and I find the brush applicators for glue and clear glue work best with my skill level. (or lack thereof) ;)

You are quite welcome. I feel like my post sounds like I'm always getting compliments, but I promise, I don't! My hair or nails is what people usually notice...and not necessarily always in a good way. :P I'm rocking a high pony hard these days with the heat climbing. Oy!
Since they are in the neighborhood and we all know each other, these aren't some strangers coming up to me saying "How about those lashes!" lol I did laugh that day...now forever down in my personal history as "The Red Cherry Incident".

Thank you girls!! I actually have the Demi wispies and they make my eyes look winged out even when I don't have winged eyeliner that day. I like it but j feel like the band breaks easily though.
