I love powder foundation, but recently I've wanted to try liquid foundation. I got the loreal true match blendable and tried it out and it went on nice but my dry skin was visible even after 2 layers of it. I put moisturizer on every morning and even after that, my dry skin will show through and catch on the foundation. help!

The L'Oreal true Match foundation is not suited to those with dry skin. The True Match works best with normal to oily skin types. If you have dry skin, layering foundation over it will not make the dryness disappear, in fact it will look heavier and cling to your dry areas even more. In addition, this is a light to medium coverage finish, so if you are looking for true full coverage, this foundation is not for you.
If you want to try and make this foundation work with your skin type, I would make sure that you exfoliate and use a more emollient moisturizer. :)

I see you made a new thread after this one now asking for foundation recommendations for dry skin under $20. The ladies on that thread gave you some good suggestions. Neutrogena's Healthy Skin foundation would also be another good one for your skin type, and you're welcome. :)
