Hey guys! Looking for the best liquid illuminator to mix in with my foundation. I don't know which brands have ones that actually effective. Suggestions?? Was considering the new cover fx drops but wanted to know what else was already out there if not that. For the most part I use powder highlighters over my makeup, but I want to achieve that nice all over glow you can get when you mix an illuminator into your foundation. (Feel free to add photos too if you have them)

I actually do have one of the NYX illuminators and it doesn't seem like it works for me. Maybe because I have tanner skin, but it doesn't show up well on me as pigmented enough :(

There are so many out now summer it's so crazy lol when it comes to illuminating product's it's just going to give you a subtle glow it's not going to be a extreme highlight of Tin man frost. Are you wanting a frost pressed pigment look? or illuminating radiance finish? What were you expecting it to give you? the light catches on the reflects of radiance with a illuminating finish which you wouldn't really catch off the bat when your looking at it but once near light or outside you'll notice it a bit. :)

Cover Fx's new highlighter drops are getting rave reviews. Some say you can even put over powder. Haven't seen them myself though.

Thanks Alma. I was looking for something that would give me that bit of radiance when when it catches in the light. Nothing super frosty but just something a little noticeable.

I think I need to go to a Sephora or something Marleen and rest the cover fx. I've seen so much about them behind great. I was reading the reviews on Sephora just yesterday and couldn't find one bad one lol. And I've watched a couple videos with them and they look great. I like that you can mix them into anything or use alone and make the highlight as subtle or intense as you want. That custom aspect of them is nice.

Thanks Angela! Because I actually was looking at the backlight primer too to see how it was. Literally considering everything :)

Burberry Luminous Fluid Base is great if you're wanting something more subtle, no shimmer, just a nice heathy sheen
