When I use my Maybelline Fit Me Foundation it always appears to be cakey and flakey on my dry skin. This would occur even if I applied the smallest amount of foundation. I moisturise so I don't think that this would be the issue. Would it just be that this foundation isn't for me? If so what is a good drugstore foundation for dry skin?

I thought that foundation is targeted to oily skin.

Honestly, in my experience, drugstore foundations and concealers tend to make my skin look flakey and cakey. I recently just upgraded my Loreal visible lift concealer to the Smashbox HD concealer and its a far better quality compared to the Loreal concealer I been using.

I honestly recommend exfoliating 2-3 times/week. As for foundation, I recommend going to your local Sephora and getting a color match consultant from any of the cast members bc drug store foundation is so bad for your skin hunn... :/ The most lightweight foundation I can recommend is the Too Faced Born This Way foundation. It's medium-full coverage and it's sheep but also build able. It's oil free and won't cake/crease. If you're looking for a lightweight concealer I highly recommend getting the Urban Decay Naked Skin weightless complete converge concealer. These two products are so lightweight it literally feels like I'm wearing absolutely nothing. The best way to blend out the concealer would be with a damp beauty blender. Good luck hunn(;
