When I posted my birthday haul some of you expressed interest in a MOTD with Mr. Blonde so here it is! I like the contrast between the dark eyes and the light lips but I don't know how I feel about this color on me. Constructive criticism always appreciated!

Face:
-Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer
-Estée Lauder Double Wear in 2W1 Dawn
-NYX HD Concealer in Light
-Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder
-Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette (Sombre)
-MAC Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul
-NYX Illuminator in Ritualistic

Brows:
-IT Cosmetics Brow Power
-Chella Defining Brow Gel

Eyes:
-Lorac Behind The Scenes Eye Primer
-NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean
-Lorac Pro Palette (Taupe, Slate, Nude)
-Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Crayon in Blacquer
-Tarte Lights Camera Splashes

Lips:
-Colourpop Ultra Matte in Mr. Blonde

I applied my primer on my cheeks and through the t-zone with my fingers. I applied and blended my foundation with the RT Expert Face Brush. I applied my concealer under my eyes in a triangle, down the nose, and the Cupid's bow and blended it all in with the RT Miracle Complexion Sponge. I set with the translucent powder under my eyes with the RT Setting Brush and the rest of my face with the Danielle Powder Brush. I contoured my cheekbones, chin, and jawline with the RT Contour Brush and the sides of my nose with a MAC 217 using the shade Sombre. I applied my blush to my cheeks with the Danielle Blush Brush. I applied my highlighter to the tops of my cheekbones, down the nose, and the Cupid's bow with the RT Fan Brush.

I lightly filled in my brows with the pencil and set them with the gel.

I applied my eye primer from lash line to brow with my finger. I applied the jumbo pencil on my lid and slightly in the crease and blended with my finger. I applied taupe in and above the crease with the ELF Blending Eye Brush. I applied Slate all over the lid and into the crease with the Danielle Eyeshadow Brush and onto the lower lash line with the blending brush. I applied Nude under the brow and the inner corner with the ELF Defining Eye Brush. I applied the liner to my tight line and waterline and applied one coat of mascara on my bottom lashes and two on the top.

I applied my lip color with the applicator.

Wow! POP of color!! I like how you blended your eyeshadow well. Your skin looks fabulous.
I love that your eyebrows look natural. That said, the ONLY one thing I would do is maybe shape your brows a bit? Ok so it's totally ok if you love your brows and don't want to mess with them. Please let me be clear, I'm not advocating the Instagram brow by any means, and I love natural. I'm just picturing you with a little shape to your brow, maybe a very small wax to give an arch, and I think it would just be stunning! But like I said, your brows are your own and they don't look bad at all. I'm just imagining a picture in my head that I think would be pretty.
Ok so you did a fab job!! I love the fearlessness to rock that blue lipstick! And I wish I had your skin! You're beautiful!

Kathryn, thank you so much! I'm a firm believer that your natural brow shape is what suits your face shape the best and my brow shape is naturally quite straight and I like them like that (:

Allie, thank you! (:

Cara Delavigne has those straight eyebrows as well and she's a supermodel so go for it! You're beautiful any which way, and GOOD for you for knowing what you like and sticking with it. You're absolutely right, your natural brow shape is beautiful. ☺️❤️

That is bright! But, I love it! If you're not sure of the color, you can try layering it with a darker blue or create a subtle ombré with it. I love liquid lipsticks for that reason. It's fun creating new colors :)

Thank you, Kathryn and Michelle! (:

Love it! That is a gorgeous blue. After Michelle brought up the ombré lip, I'm thinking you should try an ombré with your Poe lipstick and this one! I think that would look super cool:)

Taylor, I was thinking that as well! I'll have to play around with this and Poe one day. Thank you! (:

I love this look! You blended the eyeshadow incredibly well, which is difficult when you're working with dark shadows. I do have some tips though! I would definitely try to use a bronzer with this look. I know you contoured with the cool toned powder from KVD, but I feel like your face needs more warmth to balance out the cool toned eyeshadow and lipstick. How is the formula of that liquid lipstick? I have 5 liquid lipsticks from CP and some I love and some I can't stand

Kaitlin, thank you! I don't like to use bronzer when I contour, I'm not sure why but that's how I like to do it. I loved the formula of this one! It applied very smoothly and opaque and didn't feel dry or tight at all (:
