Okay, so I have natural curly hair that is brown with blonde highlights from the sun. I really want to dye my hair that silver or gray color, but I'm honestly terrified of bleaching my hair. Will some fall out? Will the bleach relax my curls? I've just heard sooooo many horror stories, and if there's no threat I don't want to stress over nothing. So, has anybody with curly hair bleach their hair? (I have 3 different types of curls and really THICK hair)

These two pics are examples of how I want my hair to look. If you need pics of my hair I will be more than happy to post pics.

I bleach mine and mine is curly and brown and it didn't change anything with my hair, I think it depends on your hair really, is your hair strong or weak? Because it really depends on how Belarus your hair is

I've got curly hair and it's new hair before I lost my hair to cancer it was to my waist and had bleach damage my curls without product in them would be crunchy and not as defined my new hair the most I'll do is highlights I actually had the same pic off pinterest I wanted the same grey and my hair dresser told me why don't we just do highlights Cuz to get it that color even with olaplex you will lose your curls a little they will be limp and dry as curly girl I advise you to maybe just do highlights don't damage your whole head of curls not only that but grey is a color that takes a lot of upkeep your talking multiple trips to the salon to keep it that color which equals damage upon damage.

I personally don't find going silver-White worth the maintenance, I did find that my hair texture was changed when It was bleached, if you like your curly hair I personally wouldn't recommend it.

I agree with Hailey about using olaplex and getting it done by a hairdresser. And what happened to Danica happened to me as well. It has taken me 3 years to get my healthy curls back, a lot of trial and error with hair products, and hair treatments. I had to cut my hair twice because my ends were fried.

I advise against it. Its high damage and it will relax your curls a bit and if you wanna keep your hair your head, you need to go to a trustworthy stylist which is really pricey. It's a journey. I don't say this to be a debbie downer but it's my honest thoughts.

Thanks ladies! I was aware of how high maintenance that hair color is. I was just very concerned about bleaching my curls. This was very helpful. I will be asking my hair dresser how she feels about bleaching my hair.
