I got my BeautyCon box today and was really excited to see an Ofra liquid lipstick inside since I've never used once before but when I swatched it on my hand it seemed like it had separated.
The color swatched but then there was like oil or some kind of clear stuff that swatched alongside it and I was really turned off by it.
Did I get a bad product? Is there any way to fix it?
This has never happened with my liquid lipsticks before and I'm really bummed because the color is beautiful.

The product was not mixed correctly. Maybe if you shake it, it will be normal again.

Thanks, Tia. I shook it and mixed it with the applicator and now it's fine (:

I don't have the answer to your question but what's a beauty con box?! It sounds fun😮

It's a seasonal box from BeautyCon. I started getting it this past spring because Bunny/Grav3yardgirl curated it (:

Is the weather hot where you are? I know sometimes with products that are shipped in the mail, if it's really hot outside and they're exposed to that temperature during shipping it can cause the formula of liquid lippies to separate. I've heard putting them in the fridge for a few hours can help but I've never actually experienced this for myself. :)

Jamie, the weather's actually been lovely the last few days. I just mixed it with the applicator and now it's fine (:

When ofra 1st came out with liquid lips I received one and it was very heavy drying and left a ring inside my inner lips and was also very watery I believe that I just got a bad one because lots of people rave about them. It kind of reminds me of OCC lip tars I've never liked the wear of seperated like texture of them (:
