I currently use the RCMA translucent powder right now and I can't seem to find a way to set my foundation just enough so it will stay in place but also not dry up my skin. Any suggestions?

Use a new powder honestly. I tried so many different powders and all of them made my skin look super dry. The only powder I found that works for me is the Mac Careblend powder. It's formulated for dry and sensitive skin and it's the best powder I've ever used. It sets my foundation without drying out my skin and making everything look patchy. Good luck girl

I agree with Kayla Marie. Mac Careblend is the best powder for dry skin. It doesn't dry out my combination skin (my cheeks and chin get very dry) but also sort of soaks up T-zone oils. Its amazing.

I also like Mac Careblend and also Nars Crystal Translucent Pressed Powder, not the loose. When dusting the pressed powder on, I use a fluffy paddle brush to lightly pat on powder. I prefer the pressed, because it doesn't seem like there is any powder transferring onto the brush, because the powder is so finely milled and I mean the most finely milled ever. So much that the powder feels hard, hence, you won't see powder transfer onto the brush. But believe me, its there. You want the lightest veil of powder to set dry skin. It also has tiny skin reflecting particles in it, that will held offset a dry look. But you won't see any sparkles or anything.

The way I apply my powder is just to set my under eyes and it's like a "mini bake" using a beauty blender. I tried to use a brush, but it accentuated my dry skin. Thank you guys by the way! I'll definitely dry the Mac careblend!
