How can I create a good YouTube channel username?

I decided to create my YouTube channel, although I'm having trouble trying to figure out a good name. I'm planning on making it a makeup channel, any ideas? - Erika.

I think you should just use your own name, or something including your name which isn't too gimmicky. I think Annisas idea is perfect, Erikabeauty, Erikasmakeup, beautybyerika, makeupbyerika, something like that

I agree with Hannah, most gurus have switched to using their names (unless their original screen name already has their name in it, NikkieTutorials for example) or if you're not comfortable with using your full name you can use your first and middle name, which is what I've done (:

I agree with the others. One of my biggest regrets with my channel is not using my actual name. lol

Erickabeauty is great. Also, there's a YouTube name generator. I don't have the link but just Google it or access the generator through your Google account for YouTube.
