Maybe make a cone out of cardboard and spray/paint it black? or use a garden stick and wrap with black paper until it becomes a cone and then glue on?

Use pipe cleaner to get the shape and then cover it in aluminum foil, and then paper mache it to get it smooth. It'll keep it sturdy as well. You can also use air dry clay to smooth and round out the tips so it's not as pointy and triangle shaped.

Also, try using a cheap pair of gloves as a base so you don't have to expose your bare skin to the adhesives and paints you'd be using.
