I have narrowed down the foundations that I want to get and I was looking for the best in your opinions. They are Tarte 12-Hour Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation, MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation, and Too Faved Born This Way.

Thank you!

(P.S. I have VERY acne-prone and combination skin if that would help suggestions)

I heard really good things about the too faced born this way foundation.

I only have the MUFE foundation out of the three but here's my review of it: I have combo skin that leans oily, acne scars, and hormonal acne. The foundation is medium coverage that easily erases redness but one or two layers won't be able to completely cover the dark acne scars I have around my mouth from hormonal acne. So if coverage is what you're going for, I think the other two will be a better choice especially if you have active acne or scarring. That being said, I do love this foundation for the finish. It's not dry matte but more natural which is probably why I can look oily by the end of the day. Personally that's not a problem for me since I don't really care to control my oil as I don't consider myself a greaseball. The wear is decent as well. I use Hourglass primer under and after 10 hours it still looks decent. Of course, more oily but nothing is flaking or gunking up. The wear looks natural. I hope this helps!

Personally I've tried the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation and the MUFE Ultra HD Foundation and I didn't like either one of them. The Tarte one is very thick and just a weird consistency so it's hard to blend and feels heavy on the skin. The MUFE looked very makeup-y/you could tell I was wearing foundation and didn't have the full coverage it claims to have.

I love both the make up forever hd and the born this way. I would go for the makeup forever if you have normal to oily skin and the too faced if you've got dryer skin. I have super dry skin and the too faced feels moisturizing almost plus it doesn't cling to dry patches:)

I have all of them. Tarte & Too Faced are my everyday foundation whereas MUFE is my "dress up" essential cuz it photographs VERY beautifully. Tarte is Super lightweight and comfortable for everyday use. Too Faced is actually great if you're into satin luminous finish but not as Long lasting as Tarte.

I love TF BTW- can't say enough good things about it. It's lightweight but still has excellent coverage. Feels great on my face. Many people like MUFE HD and Tarte but I find the textures irritating for me personally. I don't care for foundations that have a lot of silicone and that's a top ingredient in both of these foundations. If you like the feel of the Smashbox silicone primer, you would like the MUFE and Tarte. Hope that helps 🙂

I love the Tarte myself..it doesn't feel heavy to me, and it's the first full coverage foundation I've worn in years. It's really build able so I usually just go with a light layer. I have combination skin and haven't noticed any problems either the oily section or the dry section. I am pretty sparing about where I use the setting powder though because it can look a little heavy up close.
