Okay so ever since about 6th grade I've had moderate acne, mostly on my chin and in between my eyebrows. Just recently I've been feeling very insecure about it and wanted to do something about it... I bought the peter thomas roth max complexion clearing pads as well as the acne wash by PTR. But after using the pads for about a week I started getting these little white bumps under my skin which did not make me happy at all... I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem with this product or any tips or products you recommend!! 😄

Those bumps are skin irritation. I have very sensitive skin and that happens to me if I try a new product. Before you try out a product on your entire face, just test it out right under your chin on your neck area. I would recommend ARC cosmetics acne treatment. I used it and I have very sensitive skin and it WORKS! Just be consistent in washing your face. Don't pop pimples. From personal experience I completely regret it. I have terrible scarring. I occasionally have a zit here and there but that's it.

Also try skin "clearing" makeup. It does wonders.

Thanks! I will definitely look into that... but as of the irritation do you think I should just leave it alone or keep using these harsh products? a lot of people have told me to just leave my face alone but I've been so scared to do that.

All skin conditions are generally made worse by irritation, so avoiding harsh products is paramount to a long-term, effective skincare routine, be it for aging, acne, discoloration, etc.
All skin conditions are also generally made worse by sun damage, so it's important to make that a habit as well as finding things that are gentle.
How would you describe your skin type?

It's more on the combination side, I do wear sunscreen almost everyday and wear sunglasses at all times.

First I was using proactive for a very long time with my clarisonic and it seemed to be doing the job just fine, after I ran out of that I started branching out a little more as I wanted my skin to look flawless.. I purchased peter thomas roth acne cleanser as well as the max complexion clearing pads
I wash my face with the cleanser, tone my face, wipe around once with the ptr pads, and then moisturize... but since this post I haven't been using the pads or my clarisonic!!😟 and my skin is already looking better!!

A lot of acne "treatment" products are actually not that great for your skin. They often contain extraneous stuff that is counterproductive to treating acne.
It's also important to note that your cleanser only needs to cleanse gently and effectively. It doesn't need (and shouldn't have) extra ingredients that should ideally be left on the skin, such as salicylic acid, which is why I'm generally not a fan of a lot of high end cleansers.
Are you looking to treat anything except your acne, or is that your main concern?
