How can I dye my hair which is brown with blonde highlights a solid brown color? I've heard hair can turn green if it's not done right.

I am not a professional but I have bleached my hair And when I colored back to brown I use semi permanent color to deposit color into the light hair. 4-5 days after I used a permanent color with a protein filler.

Do I need to use developer? Sorry I don't really know much about hair dying. I always get mine done at the salon but I would like to learn since I just want one solid color

The semi permanent vol 10 developer, one part color two developer process for 15 mins. Permanent also vol 10 25--35 mins 1 part color, one part developer. The protein filler is mixed with the permanent color, but applying it on the roots should be avoided.

You could skip the semi permanent, the protein with the permanent and the vol 10 developer might do the work. Also your hair might turn out darker than the color that you have in mind, but it will get lighter
