Hey guys!
Just wondering, how would I go about creating that completely matte look for the face where it looks powder perfect all day as my pores often show through ( maybe it's my foundation as estee doesn't do this as much but Clinique tends to show pores) is the porefessional by benefit any good?
Thank you

I sometimes struggle with that also! I find pressing the powder onto the skin rather than sweeping is helpful. For example when I bake I don't "dust" the powder off. I usually press then lightly dust any extra powder off. I've used the porefessional & honestly I love it! Not all techniques are promised to the work the same on everybody though but give it a try and see how it works for you :)

Set a finely milled powder with a powder puff.

The smashbox pore Minimizer is better and will help keep you matte whereas the porefessional doesn't really do that.
When you set your face, the press-roll technique with a powder puff is better and really sets your makeup compared to just using a powder brush and sweeping on a small amount.
I'd also suggest blotting sheets and blotting powder.
I've come across plenty that have blotting powder but they use it on their skin when it's oily, the thing is that you actually should blot with a sheet first because using any powder over oil can cause it to easily cake up and since you put the powder on the oil it will mattify your face but at that moment but will find you need to touch up again sooner because that layer of powder is meant to help control oil from producing more so than concealing/masking oil that's already there so you'll find that blotting first and then powdering will be better and you don't have to touch up as much or as soon
