I am always having a problem with finding the right foundation shade :( Especially as I'm always busy (especially right now as I'm getting married in december) and I tend to buy a lot of stuff online. I tried to take close up pics of my skin :/
I am soo clumpsy but I hope you get he idea.
please help me 'discover' my true skin shade.
I always just reach for the ivory and sometimes it's a little lighter and sometimes it's a little darker. By the way I don't really tan so I have my pale skin all year round. I think I have a yellowish undertone? I just don't know! Like I'm not tanned or fair or even between!
thanks in advance, sorry the pics are crap

Today I have the colorstay ivory and it washes me out and yesterday I had on the maybelline dream matte mousse in ivory and that was darker on my skin making my neck look lighter in comparison :( I guess different brands have their own different kind of 'ivory' lol.

I mea I know I could bronze up or bring my foundation down to neck but what is the point of foundation. Like I just want something that fits right.

Well, I think it best to match your neck rather than your face.
From what I can see, your skin leans a little more yellow.
The Revlon Colorstay in Ivory is quite neutral so it may contribute to making you look washed out. In MAC you're probably more around an NC15 in some of their foundations
As far as the Maybelline dream matte mousse I believe there are three Ivory shades. Porcelain Ivory, Classic Ivory and Natural Ivory I think.
