That's what mine use to do I have super dry skin and with matte foundations any kind of dryness will do that you should only need super moisturized skin as a primer for that foundation

I'd exfoliate then put a very rich moisturizer on let it sit in for 40 min if there's excess blot the oil then put your foundation on with a damp beauty blender.

I did moisturize I forgot to say. Danica as much as I would love to do that I'm still in school and I don't have 40 minutes to let it sit in 😔 so I should get a non matte foundation?

I think you might have not moisturised after exfoliation.
