Overpowering eyebrows help

I have naturally thick eyebrows, and love to enhance them as much as I can. I get them waxed every couple weeks, and always keep them in pretty good shape. I don't fill them in because the are pretty dark ( I have medium brown hair and my eyebrows are black) Sometimes when I try to do a look that draws more attention to another feature, like eyes or lips, the eyebrows are overpowering. I like my eyebrows the way they are, and wouldn't want them thinner or anything like that. Any tips on how to balance out my look?
( I'm sorry if this is a dumb question lol)

Hmm honestly speaking your eyebrows look perfectly normal. In fact, I don't think they would take away from any look.

I agree with ziar. I had a look at your pics and your eyebrows look ok, nothing overpowering in my opinion

I think sometimes we see ourselves differently than everyone else. looking at your pics, your brows are beautiful and they don't seem like they would overpower other feautures to be completely honest, they don't look "bold" is what I'm trying to say. I think when we try new things we arent used to, we tend to look at it with a different eye and nit pick everything. I wouldnt worry about it. the only trick for softer brows is to not fill them in or to do it lightly.

You can lighten them a bit with facial hair bleach, but you have to be very careful. Leave on for a minute. It's very easy to go too light very quickly. You can always do it again, if you want to go lighter, but I wouldn't go too light. Hair is always darker when wet. So wait a day or so, if you want to go lighter. Here are some examples.

You can also just OUTLINE them & not fill them in. Here are some examples. Notice in the 3- part pic, the 2nd depiction is outline only.

I have to agree with everyone here, we truly do see ourselves differently than others do. I don't think your brows look overpowering at all. Bleaching/chemical lightening is an option, but a risky one. Its best to just try out a lighter color for filling them in, but not TOO light so that its obvious to differentiate where your brows is vs the pigment.
