I wasn't sure what category to put this in but I am getting my braces off on Tuesday. I have some staining where my wires we're because I couldn't get at it with my toothbrush, and I need some tips to help remove that. I heard the ortho takes some staining off of the teeth. Besides that, what teeth whitening product worked best for you guys? It can be anything from toothpaste to whitening strips.

They'll do their best to "buff" bonding residue off teeth, which often accounts for the "tracks". If you have any lines following that, you can ask about a process called composite bonding. It leaves teeth looking perfectly even. :)

I agree with Rozberry :) I recently got my braces off too, and they were fine right after the appointment :)

If you add a little baking soda to your toothpaste it works to whiten your teeth as well.

I like the Crest 3D whitening toothpaste and their professional strips. They also have a whitening booster you can use with your toothpaste for extra whitening while you brush!

I say just use the whitening strips if they still look yellowy after the buffing.

I think it would be better if you go for professional teeth whitening rather than DIY. You could ask your dentist regarding this. I had used baking soda and lemon for whitening few months back but recently I came across a blog http://www.centenarydental.com/blog/dental-process/common-mistakes-diy-teeth-whitening/ which explains some common mistakes of DIY teeth whitening I stopped using them and I have undergone teeth whitening from a clinic in Scarborough.
