Acne scarring remedies

So this morning I visited my dermatologist for a check up (about a month ago she told me I have light acne and she prescribed me a cream) and she told me that the cream worked (even though I didn't see it) and that the bumps and the red spots that remain on my face are scars. She also told me that it takes about a year to heal and go away and I can't do anything to speed up the process. Do you guys believe in remedies that claim to get rid of acne scarring?

I used unflavoured yoghurt as a face mask twice a day for twenty minutes and I got a clear face in two weeks.

It takes time but with a good regimen can get lighter. I use rosehip oil at night which helps with acne scarring and dosen't break me out. Lemon juice is also a good brightener but do use spf to protect your skin from future damage.

Retin-A I totally believe in , I experimented on my own and bought it through eBay and in like 3 months time I saw results. The process is a bit annoying if you wear makeup daily like me but it's so worth it I'm so so happy with my results
