I'm pretty heavily tattooed (full sleeve, half sleeve, knee to hip on one leg & full calf on the other) but I'm very fair skinned, so I want to use a self tanner but I'm not sure which is a good one to use and I don't want it to make my tattoos look muddy or funky. Anyone have any ideas, tips, or favorite products?

I also have tattoos, I use Jergens natural glow daily moisturizer. I apply body moisturizer on my tattoos before the self tanner.

Patty how do you like it? does it really build itself up without being orange? I want to try self tan but I'm so afraid to,look like a clown! someone recommended the Jergens one, could you give us a review of it? thanks!!

Genevieve, its really not orange at all for me. there are 2 "shades" : light to medium and med to dark. it gets progressively darker as you use it. they have a special one for the face, but I use the regular one on the edges of my face (its recommended to never fake tan the nose and middle area so I just go around and pat less and less towards the center)

Also, I even tried the jergens mousse version which works faster than the lotion and I loved it too, however I finished my bottle and havent found one anywhere (pharmaprix and jean coutu don't have it anymore sadly)

Genevieve it builds up in a week, it's not orange. My body is very very light and my face is not. I don't use it on my face.
