I don't have that particular foundation, although I do have one that is a bit similar and I used to enjoy applying it most with my fingers! You should try out all the different ways and see which one you like best.

TF born foundation is thick in my opinion so it's best to apply little by little with a beauty blender. I find that I seriously need very little to start off and build up from there to avoid cakiness :)

I usually just use a real techniques sponge but if I need more coverage the ud optical blurring brush:)
