Hi everyone! I'm a little confused as to what I'm suppose to do when it comes to wanting to look sculpted, but also wanting to have a warm, summery glow. To contour, I use NYX's HD blush in Taupe, which is a matte shade and on the cooler side. I have a couple of shimmery bronzes that I like to use during the summer to give me that "sun kissed" look, but I'm not really sure if I can do both bronze and contour at the same time?? On the days I want to look sun kissed should I skip the contour? Is the placement of the two different so it would work using them both?? If so, where exactly are you suppose to place bronzer??

You can use both just make sure you're using an appropriate colour to contour. I'm not all that familiar with NYX Taupe but shades online look good to contour with.
Bronzer placement is different to contour. Bronzer goes on high points where the sun naturally hits.

Sorry hit send too early. So I apply bronzer to the tops of the cheeks, forehead, bridge of the nose, temples and chin. However contour is appiled to areas naturally in shadow eg: under the cheekbones or jawline.

I agree with Rebecca, the placement is different so you can do both. Bronzer goes where the sun would naturally hit you to give you a sun kissed glow and contour goes where your bone structure naturally creates shadows (under the cheekbones, chin, jawline, etc).

The placement is different :) I do contour all around the perimeter of my face to make it slimmer but I'll add bronzer over my forhead area.

Does the bronzer go where blush would go, or do you add blush elsewhere? Can you use all 3 or use either blush or bronzer?

Bronzer is usually used for the purpose of looking more tanned and glowy if you know what I mean. And contour is for sculpting. So they would go in different places.

You really don't have to put the bronzer on your cheeks. You're alrdy doing a contour just do blush and highlight on top.

I prefer to use a bronzer with my contour to create a more gradient finish. Especially with my melasma, it's a challenge blur out my discoloration and stil maintain a natural look. Although I do feel comfortable using bronzer by itself.
