In the last two weeks big red pimples under my skin have started to appear for no apparent reason. I don't even know how to explain properly, my skin just be comes really red and if I touch it it hurts. How can I fix the problem?

What is your skin type? Are you on any new meds? What is your skin routine?

It could be hormonal acne - mine looks similar to that - about once a month during my time of the month it gets bad - I use tea tree oil to calm the redness and swelling and it usually goes away in about a week or two - using tea tree oil to spot treat it once a day - twice a day will probably make it go away faster but everyone's skin is different.

Well I have same on my chin. I agree with Diana about tea tree oil but dilute it.
I am applying earthr's fuller on it and It's helping a lot.I dilute it in water and apply it for 10 minutes and then wash with water

Oh yeah sorry I forgot to mention I use a premixed blend of a tea tree oil spot treatment by the body shop not pure tea tree oil.

I'm not in any meds and I have not changed my skin routine... I quit smoking but that should actually make my skin better, not worse.
