Personally I didn't like it at all, it didn't do anything for me. I absolutely love the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer, though (:

While I agree with Alexis the hourglass is amazing - I actually liked the porefessional for doing what it claimed to do and that was fill in the pores to minimize their appearance - that's pretty much the only thing it does but it does it very well IMO.

This primer was AWFUL for my skin, it made my pores 10x more visible!! I didn't like it at all!

I have dry/normal skin and it worked very well for me actually. I love it.

Me being a brown girl it wasn't for me made me look ashy but I've heard the new gel is supposed to be good

I personally don't care for it, but it might be just because I do not like these silicon-textured super silky primers. The matte-rescue gel, on the other hand, is pretty amazing!

I don't like it either..I have oily skin..let alone keeping me matte I don't think it even fills pores as well...Becca Ever Matte Poreless Perfecting Primer is worth the splurge esp if you have oily skin.

I used it for fine lines on my foreheads and a bit for my pores. I didn't apply too much, and I pressed it on - I never rubbed it in or anything of the sort.
It did its job, fill in lines and pores. That's what it's advertised for so I can't say it was bad for longevity because that's not what they advertised.
As far as the product reads
'A professional balm that minimizes the appearance of pores' and 'used throughout the day to mattify shine and touch up problem areas. '
I haven't used it to touch up problem areas, but I'll try that out soon!
FYI Try the travel size... $12 and you get more than enough. I still have mine and it's been months :)

I did what Kitty did and used a small amount and just pressed it on and it did what it was supposed to do and minimized pores.
The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't really do anything for my oils which is interesting because most people with larger pores have more oily skin.
I think this work setter for people with normal to slight dry skin and/or very minimal oily skin.
If you're more on the oily side then I prefer the Smashbox pore minimizer which is great and helps keep me matte, doing so it even helps my makeup last longer and you can get the travel size for $16 at Ulta or Sephora and they give a generous amount (.5 oz) which is half the product but it's interesting cause if you buy two of the travel sizes you get the same amount of product for a few dollars less

I liked it! It minimised pores and was very silky on the skin but it didn't help with oil control or makeup longevity. I prefer the smashbox pore minimiser overall though as that smoothes down pores and keeps you matte. Plus you get more product for the same price as the benefit one. There is also a texture difference between the two, the smashbox primer is thicker and more paste like whereas the benefit feels lighter and silkier.

It's okay but for pores I 100% recommend Dr Brandt pores no more over Porefessional.
