any idea what these skin colored bumps underneath the skin on my left cheek are called? they're on the apple of the cheek. I tend to always get these on both cheeks and between my brows. they just stay under the skin for a long time and slowly come to the surface as large whiteheads. how can I prevent these from growing and what treatments can I do to get rid of these bumps asap?

They are barely visible in the pic...if thats the case in reality I would suggest not touching them and risking further damage to your skin...otherwise, keep your skin hydrated by drinking water and using hydrating products and not products that strip the skin from moisture...also exfoliate regularly either with a physical or chemical exfoliant...chemical are less harsher and more effective.

If it's acne which is what it sounds like then you can try the buffering lotion by Mario badescu - it treats acne below the surface by either getting rid of it or making it come to a whitehead so it's easier to deal with - once it's a whitehead you can use a chemical exfoliant to quickly get rid of it or a sulfur mask (if your skin isn't too sensitive) if you have a lot of them it will dry them out quickly - that's what works for me

That may be an irritation from not cleaning makeup brushes regularly. Clean them after every use

I get those when I'm stressed. Just try not to touch them.

I believe they are cystic acne. You can get it to come to the surface faster but gradually by hot compressing it and exfoliating.

Cystic acne because they're under the skin. I use exfoliating products such as Paula's 2% BHA liquid and clarisonic alternating between the two of them. I used to have those around my jawline.
