I am starting to do indoor tanning because I need a base tan for vacation. Have any tips on how to get a better tan or anything? It would be greatly appreciated. 😊

Actually just get a fake tan anything is better than skin cancer tbh. So like go to a tanning salon and ask for a spray tan. It's safe.

If you want to get a base tan quickly look for an accelerating tan lotion. there are different types of indoor tanning lotion and the ones that say accelerator are used to create a base. I like paint it black 50x the best. they also have tanners that make your skin tingle and help you tan within just one or two sessions of you need that kind of quick result but I don't personally like them for normal use. make sure not to stay in the tanning bed if you start to feel uncomfortable. I know 5 or ten minutes may not seem like a long time but if your are very pale that is easily long enough to burn. if you are sensitive to the sun I wouldn't suggest a tanning bed even to get a base tan, I would just suggest a lot of sunscreen and shade. if you are pale but not sensitive to the skin talk to the person at the salon or gym about the kind of tanning bed and what a good beginning time is. usually it's 3-5 minutes. you can see how your skin reacts and work your way up or down from there each session. while you are in the bed move around so you don't end up with any tan lines or creases. especially if it's one you lay down in, flip over halfway through and move your legs and arms occasionally.
