Hey guys, I've been wanting to try the la girl HD pro concealer for a long time now and I was wondering how good is the coverage? does it cake? does it apply on easy? and I was also wondering ehat colour should I get because I'm very fair to give you a rpugh idea the maybelline fit me concealer in light is too dark for me by a little.

It's a great concealer however it's on the dry side perfect for oily skin. It doesn't look cakey .

I just ordered it actually and by looking at swatches I thought creamy beige would fit me and it came and it's way too dark :(

I did test it on my hand and the coverage though is amazing! I guess I'll try again in a different shade.

If you apply too much of it it can definitely look cakey. It has a thick consistency and has amazing coverage, so a little goes a long way. It blends way better with a sponge or beauty blender than a brush or fingers. I honestly had trouble with it at first. I wasn't expecting it to be so thick lol and I was using the orange to color correct, I did NOT blend properly and it was a mess because I used way too much. Also if you have dry skin like me, you definitely need to moisturize a ton prior to applying. It can enhance dry skin, negatively lol. Other than that - it's a holy grail of mine lol.
