I have such oily skin the moment I put on foundation it's matte but then 30 min goes past and my face becomes oily. Any recommendations?

What's your budget and what foundations have you tried?

Preferably not too expensive. I've tried cover girl, elf, tarte, neutrogena, etc.and now I am on maybelline matte and pore less, it works a little bit.

Are you using a primer, setting powder, and/or setting spray? What kind of coverage are you looking for?

I use smashbox water based primer. Spray primers work best for me because it doesn't create more oil, and Nyx setting powder. I would like a matte coverage.

I would actually suggest looking into the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer, it won't make your skin more oily and will help with the longevity of your makeup. For foundation I absolutely love Estée Lauder Double Wear, it's medium to full coverage, long wearing, lightweight, transfer resistant, and won't break down from skin's oils. I also suggest the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder, it'll help attain a matte finish and keep your makeup in place. Also the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray will add another layer of reassurance for long wearing makeup (:

I second the Estée Lauder double wear.
Have you tried the loreal infallible pro matte foundation? It's pretty good.
A finishing powder I love is the RCMA powder you can get here on BL. It's cheap and really does help my makeup last a long time.

I love the l'Oreal Infallibe matte foundation. I've got super oily skin and it's the only matte foundation I've ever used that actually looks matter when it's applied. I occasionally set it with a powder and I use the l'oreal Infallibe primer everyday. It's honestly one of the best foundations I've ever used, it's medium coverage which is love also.

I really like the Becca Ever-Matte Primer and my skin is quite oily.
For drugstore matte foundation a lot of people like the L'orèal Pro Matte. I think it did decent but it felt heavy and wasn't really full coverage to me personally and made me break out but it did last a decent amount of time before I had to blot and powder.
Another popular one is the Revlon Colorstay if you can find a match (they don't have any real yellow toned ones)
As far a powder, I really hope you're not using the NYX HD Finishing loose powder as a setting powder cause it's
1. Silica based which is meant to give a slight glow to the skin.
2. Doesn't control oil whatsoever
3. Is meant to be a finishing powder not a setting powder.
Powders with talc only do so-so
Look for something with either rice powder or Kaolin clay those work AMAZING for SUPER oily skin. I believe you can buy cosmetic grade kaolin and rice powder in bulk and I believe you can get like one pound for like $6 and it's made in the US
It's great for VERY oily skin.
If you're not that oily then stick to a talc based setting powder.

To keep me matte, I use the loreal pro matte, and the rimmel stay matte powder
And the NYX matte setting spray
