Hey guys, I've gained interest in the new Tarte foundation and was wondering if anybody on here has tried it yet and has an opinion? It's the one with the dropper applicator!

I'm really wanting to try this! I just hate ordering or buying without trying a sample first because I hate returning products... I didn't know the foundation had a dropper but I know the concealer does, which does not have good reviews. I hope that its good for dry skin though!

The whole collection looks pretty. I wanna try out the palette too even though I already own a million similar colors in other palettes...

I haven't tried it but Desi Perkins on YouTube said it was water based with a matte finish so definitely interested as well.

A friend gave me some to sample.
It is very runny, but the coverage is impressive..especially with how buildable it is without looking cakey. Although it starts off watery, it dries to an almost powder feel with a mostly matte, yet still a touch of a satin finish. I used it without powder.
Very natural looking. It delivers a fresh, brighter face without looking flat or ever appearing oily. A great middle ground with the finish.

Although I have dry skin, I am meticulous with my moisturize regimen, but even so, this felt a tad drying to me. I could easily see this clinging to dry patches.
For oily, normal or ever-so-slightly dry (with a hydrating primer), it's a really nice formula with great wear. I think you'll be both surprised and impressed...particularly if you love a natural finish. For me, daily use would dry me out so I'm going to pass on this and stick with my MUFE Face and Body. Cumulatively, dry users could easily get even drier...and dry peeps who powder daily or if you run dry and are on an anti-aging regimen, this won't do you any favors. You'd be actively drying your skin out. THAT SAID, this would work in Summer with those who are only seasonally dry. ( I threw away the rest of my sample as it does not suit my personal skin type or needs.)
The name is a bit misleading in that it suggests a hydrating formula.
SPF is 15. Nothing impressive in that regard, Those allergic to or irritated by physical sunscreens, heads up.

A few in-depth Makeup Alley reviews give it high marks.
