So my hair has been superdry lately because I workout so much and my hair is all sweaty. Yuk. It needed extra moisture to feel normal again but my hairmasks didnt work nor did coconutoil. Soooo here is a little tip! Buy some 100% pure argan oil and put in on dry hair. Work by section and make sure you really coat your hair and scalp. Leave it in for the night and wash 2/3 times followed by a light conditioner. My hair feels so soft and it looks like I straightened it! My hair is usually frizzy and wavy :o I would love to hear your results. Coconut oil just doesn't work for me but I'm glad I found something that did!

Hmmm, I have not tried argan oil yet. I have tried coconut oil before, but after I wash it out after only one shampoo, it is already dry again. :( I have super dry frizzy hair so I might try this! I have never actually seen pure 100% argan oil for sale. Where do you buy it?

@M K. I have the same problem! It feels dry and brittle after I do the coconut oil. It has something to do with the protein in it I read. Argan oil is much thicker so make sure you really was it 2/3 times :) And I bought mine in an organic store in Holland. So I'm not sure where you can buy it... Maybe some other girls might know here! Goodluck!

I have found that sunflower oil is good for both my skin and hair.

My hair rejects coconut oil too, so I also had to find something else. Try an olive oil mask on dirty hair before you get in the shower. Work it on your scalp, and really coat everything (like with your argan oil), put it under a plastic shower cap, and wrap a warm towel around your head, and let it sit for 30-60 minutes. When you wash it, use a clarifying shampoo first, APPLY IT WHILE ITS STILL DRY, and slowly work in the water. It takes a little longer to wash this way, but it's worth it. Rinse that out, wash it again with your regular shamp, put in a little too much conditioner, let that sit while you wash up, and put in a leave-in when you get out. I swear, olive oil makes my hair so incredibly shiny, smooth, and SOFT. I've mixed some argan oil in with my olive oil too, and it works just as well, so maybe try that, too :)

Ah thanks Jessica! Ill try that too plus olive oil is much cheaper! Too bad our hair doesn't like coconutoil :( I was like, why doesn't it work on my hair? People love coconutoil! But we have other options luckily :D.

No problem! I was in the same boat! It kinda wrecked my hair for a few weeks, tbh. My hair is virgin and naturally straight, so it's usually pretty soft and all that without it, but it seemed like the coconut oil sucked out what good was in it instead of being the nectar of the gods everyone was raving about. But yeah, I've used olive oil instead for years now. It's a great alternative to c.o :)
