I have really tan complexion and I recently offered the Mac pastel x 9 palette but I've never seen the colors in person... (Ok not real smart) I'm wandering if anyone has used the colors and with my complexion would the colors be vibrant or are they more for fair skin complexion? I looked for some photos or tutorials using the palette but was unable to find any, which makes me wonder if it's not a good palette.

I have a love hate relationship with the mac x 9 palettes, I have purple and burgandy and love those, but the others did not WoW me much, I was in Mac last week and I swatched the pastel palette I'm a medium tone with olive skin but still kinda on the light side at times ( I have the craziest skin tone lol) and I found them to be way to chalky and pale on me. Most Mac pastels are a miss in my book, no matter how you pack them they barely show up. I find sugarpill cosmetics eyeshadows to be the best in pigment hands down and makeup forever and kvd her lighter shades that is a close 2nd. But if it's free then go for it and try to work with it. Different primers and such may make them show up a bit better (:
