Ulta is having their gorgeous hair event and almost all of their hair products are going to be on sale, like Biolage, Matrix total results, Redken, sexy hair, tigi, and Joico. So I'd like to buy some new stuff because I have a hard time spending money on my hair instead of my face lol. I've never colored my hair or anything before, but I plan on getting highlights next month. I have fine, blonde hair and my main concerns are dryness and keeping my hair overall healthy looking. I've been using the TIGI catwalk oatmeal and honey conditioner and the Biolage repairinside shampoo, but I feel like it's time to switch it up.

is it frizzy?

Not really, it definitely doesn't like to stay straight or organized, but it's not unmanageable or anything. my natural hair is just kinda wavy midway to the ends. It's mid back length if that helps at all.

I recommend Sexy Hair, literally all their shampoos and conditioners work AMAZING I've used most of the formulas. I think my fave was the blue bottles with soy protein

Then I'd grab the joico protein treatment as well which works great for bleached hair too and will help keep your highlights conditioned

Yeah I've heard a lot of people talk about the soy protein line, especially the leave in! Thank you, Aurora. I always appreciate your responses. I think I'm going to buy a few different shampoos & conditioners since they're so cheap. What do you think about the Matrix Total Results line? I've heard some mixed reviews

What are the Sexy Hair soy protein shampoo and conditioner good for? Straight hair? Shiny hair? Like what does it give you...

@Jamie, yes! I love their soy treatment oil as well!
I personally haven't tried anything from the total result line though.

@Ariana, protein just helps to strengthen hair. Protein gets lost from dying your hair, bleaching, using heat etc.which weakens it, can cause breakage and make your hair not as manageable or like straw and is also great for fine hair.
Hair needs a balance of protein and moisture. A lot of people just focus on moisturizing products which pretty much only softens the hair

I went to Ulta and was planning to get kms tame frizz for flyaways I have wavy hair and it's like fine but I have a lot of hair.

The hairstylist recommended me to try AG smoother its retail is 55 but it's 21 dollars now on sale!

I've used it twice already and My hair can last 3 days without getting crazy or too greasy. It smells AMAZING like tropical vanilla colada or something.

I have also used less of my hair elixir (hair oil) because it's doing such a great job keeping it silky and healthy looking and feeling!
