So I always go to the salon to get my hair done, & when ever I walk in telling them what I want, I walk out with something different. I don't know how to explain the looks I want, so how would you describe this look?

This is a pic of a balyage...I think someone may have mentioned it above as well. Be careful who you go to for this technique and make sure if you're getting a lift in color that proper precautions are taken as there are very light pieces in this pic. You want to avoid a chemical cut!

As a hairdresser I disclose that pictures are hard to match up because half the time their photoshopped. Everyone's hair is different and color takes differently. not sure what your starting level is right now but to get a silver/ grey look you have to be lightened quite a bit (like Christina Agulera blonde). I suggest bringing the picture in and they could get you as close as possible in one application but you may have to keep coming back to get to the desired level n tone. Best of luck.?
