I'm looking for a medium coverage foundation that will even out my skin and blur large pores nicely as well. thoughts?

The Ultra HD liquid is more for "all skin types" but not super dry or super oily.

The "born this way" foundation is geared more toward dry skin I believe.

I like the Ultra HD liquid foundation. My skin hasn't really been flaky but it does well controlling my oil. Although I do not find that it minimizes the look of large pores. It doesn't accentuate it but it doesn't minimize either.
I think you'll need a pore minimizer like the Smashbox Photo Finish pore minimizer (good for oily skin)
Or the benefit porefessional (better for normal skin)

If you're oily and just want a sort of all-in-one that's medium coverage and minimizes pores then I prefer the MAC studio fix fluid. You only need a small amount.
