I'm in work, and a cold has started on me today! as I rubbed by nose, my piercing fell out. I've had the piercing for a year. will it be OK until I can get home? it'll be out for 3 hrs, then I can put a new srud in the minute I get home.

It should be okay, but it's really not something we can know without you testing it. Everybody's wounds heal at different rates. Sometimes it can be minutes before it starts to close, sometimes says. If it's only 3 hours then the most amount of skin that grows you'd be able to push through with your jewelry without a lot of trouble or pain.

It might hurt pushing it back through 😫 I had mine for three years and it still was hurting When I changed it after all that time.

Like Alex said, we all heal differently! I've had my nose pierced for 8 years and can leave mine out for months but after around 4 months its a little harder to put in. within the first year, it'd close quickly on me.
