So I've been on the hunt for a good moisturizer for a long time. I have oily skin, but recently my skin has been getting flaky on my cheeks and between my eyebrows. SPF would be nice but doesn't have to be. What are some of your holy grails??

CeraVe AM moisturizer. I have oily skin & it doesn't make my skin feel greasy, & layers very nice under makeup. It's SPF 30 as well!

Vegetable Crisco!! It's soy and palm oil and about $3/can...can't beat the price! It is often suggested for people who suffer from eczema.
Method
Apply Crisco after a bath or shower to lock in moisture. After showering or bathing, pat yourself gently dry with a clean towel, but don’t rub vigorously -- you want to retain some dampness. Scoop some Crisco into your hands and rub it over the afflicted areas, or over your whole body for all-over skin hydration, if desired. Allow the Crisco to penetrate your skin before dressing.
Benefits
Crisco’s main benefits are effectiveness and cost. As with traditional moisturizers, the product keeps water from evaporating from your skin after bathing, which facilities hydration. But Crisco costs much less than most store-brand moisturizers, notes the University of Kansas Medical Center.

I have oily skin during the summer especially but I use Cetaphil (less than dime size for me) and a half pump of palmers skin therapy oil (rose hip because I don't like the original cocoa butter scent). Even though its oil it doesn't leave a greasy residue, also improved the appearance of scars I have
